I took a few dozen B&W photos that day, and have enjoyed looking back on them many times in the years that have passed. Now I am opening my shoebox of photos to you - so those who may be interested can enjoy them as well.

They are displayed here, with a simple forward and backward control set at the bottom of each page. Some pages may include some commentary, some may not. Almost all will be hyper-linked to larger, high-resolution versions (the average file size is about 20K for the larger .jpg)

I am including a basic background of the trip as best as I can remember it. I am also including a generic history, and links to other sites on the net where you can learn even more.
